Hello,

I'm stuck on a case for weeks and hope a little help from the Office integration experts.

A new entity fails in getting its own fields in the "field integration wizard" of the Office Add-In :

enter image description here

These fields seems to be retrieved by a function called GetTemplateFields (located the DLL, or somewhere else...).

Understanding what is the principle of the query launched by this function can help me a lot in fixing that issue!

Does anyone have some info about it?

Regards,
Cédric Edouard

Are you sure the user you are logged on with in Efficy (or the one that is configured in the Sidebar) has the required **Table Rights** on your new entity?

Did you refresh database connections, or disconnected session (should be after a week).

Try sending a SOAP request with the same account and see if the following operations return your entity.

<efficy:api>
 <datacontainer id="1" operation="entitycollection"/>
 <datacontainer id="2" operation="getentitytables"/>
</efficy:api>

With a big "thank you !" to Nabilla for her great help on my case, here is the solution for the bug I encountered.

What was my problem ?

An entity was incompletly created in Efficy 2014. We had to manually create fields and data in the database. But something was wrong in the Office integration.

In the tree of entities in the Word Add-in wizard, our new entity "Site" was not displaying correctly :

Solution

This was due to a wrong input in SYSRELATIONS, in the KJOINTABLE field. Here is a screenshot pf the wrong input ("50033", on the last line) :

Here is a screeshot of the correct data ("33050") in DbEditor :

Since then, everything is ok ! :-)
